Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a non-invasive treatment that uses targeted light energy to correct:

• Sun damage 
• Age spots and pigmentation 
• Redness and Rosacea 
• Broken capillaries 
• Uneven skin tone 

Unlike lasers that target one issue, IPL treats multiple concerns in a single session, making it one of the most effective overall skin rejuvenation treatments available.

IPL delivers pulses of light into the skin, where it is absorbed by pigment and blood vessels.

This process:

• Breaks up unwanted pigment 
• Reduces redness and vascular lesions 
• Stimulates collagen production 

Over time, your skin becomes:

• More even in tone 
• Smoother in texture

IPL is ideal if you have:

• Sun-damaged skin 
• Brown spots or freckles 
• Redness or flushing 
• Mild skin laxity 
• Uneven complexion 

It works best for Fitzpatrick skin types I–III.

IPL may not be recommended if you:

• Have very dark skin tones (higher Fitzpatrick types) 
• Have active tanning or sun exposure 
• Are pregnant 
• Have certain skin conditions or photosensitizing medications 

During your consultation, we determine if IPL—or a better alternative—is right for you.

After treatment, you may notice:

• Dark spots temporarily darken before flaking off 
• Redness reduces gradually 
• Skin tone becomes more even 
• Overall brightness improves 

Most clients see best results in a series of 3 treatments.

While IPL is not a primary skin tightening treatment, it does stimulate mild collagen production and can improve overall skin quality.

For deeper wrinkles or laxity, we often combine IPL with:
